Joan M. Starkowsky

President of Sirocco Coach-Consulting, LLC

Managing Partner for Sirocco Well-Being, LLC

Joan Starkowsky, MA, BCC is a Board Certified life and leadership coach, consultant, teacher and speaker.  She is certified as a Predictive Index Talent Optimization Partner and Consultant. She inspires people to take their personal power, maximize their gifts and talents and find passion, energy, and performance in life and work.
The signature of Joan's leadership has always been the development and maximization of talent, which along with her extensive business, leadership and coaching experience, cultivates growth, expansion and engagement in others.
 
Joan was the founder and President of Roadway Reverse Logistics, Inc., subsidiary of the former Fortune 500 Company, Roadway Express. She is an entrepreneur and inventor who holds a patent for an innovative reverse logistics business process and web portal.  The company and patent was conceived from her innovative industry-led product called Roadway Managed Return Services that produced $7 million in revenue its first year.
Joan has held multiple leadership positions, produced profitable revenue streams through collective sales management roles, marketing and operations in transportation, logistics, retailing and consulting. These rich experiences influence and empower her work for success.

Mary Ellen Garofalo

Managing Partner for Sirocco Well-Being, LLC

Mary Ellen Garofalo, MSN, RN, CRRN, SPHR has held leadership roles in health care, and human resources serving the manufacturing, construction and baking industries. She is a human resource professional and is certified as a Predictive Index Talent Optimization Consultant.

She was the Director of the Transitional Care Program for a national home health care company. She led a team of nurse managers in multiple states, transitioning catastrophically ill and complex patients home for nursing services through strong relationship building, nursing expertise, sales, and marketing.

Mary Ellen has a Master's Degree in Nursing Leadership and is a certified rehabilitation nurse specializing in complex disease management, catastrophic injuries, case management and transitional care. She is a health educator and nurse coach, providing integrative health and well-being programs for organizations and individuals, including our signature program Self CEO: Path to Well-Being.

Mary Ellen is a speaker and facilitates interactive, high-value business workshops that are relevant to the current business climate. Her positive “can do” spirit, humor and respect motivates companies and individuals alike to move forward through problem solving even in life's most challenging circumstances.

We have a horse-handling team, who are experienced in all aspects of horse care and horsemanship.

They assist with the Hoof & Heart Experience, which is a method of learning called equine assisted coaching, using horses as partners in a safe learning environment.

It is used with both non horse people and people familiar with horses. The coaching process is done on the ground with a focus on creating an authentic connection to oneself and others. There is no riding or horsemanship.
